Let’s run through some examples of music you might want to use:
When incorporating music into your work, you may need to license either the composition or the sound recording, or both, depending on the circumstances. So, to repeat, a composition is the music sheet that you read, while the sound recording is the musical reproduction of the composition that you hear. It is essential to understand the distinction between compositions and sound recordings. Below is a discussion of the distinction between compositions and sound recordings, and other topics you should have in mind when considering music. The sound recording is the musical reproduction of the composition that you hear. The composition is the music sheet that you read (bar notes and/or lyrics). The first thing you must know about music licensing is that there are two components to every piece of music: the composition and the sound recording.
Music licensing can be complicated because there are many technical terms and it is not intuitive. Whenever you are using music in your production, you must think very carefully about a number of issues. Music licensing is a huge business for music copyright owners, and thus they are very protective of their intellectual property. Music licensing is the process of obtaining the rights that will you need in order to incorporate music into your work. Submitting books pay more then just publishing. This article is provided for educational purposes only. They also have eight perfect UFO plants that act as bonus. My two adult Sims make enough money in a week to run a household with 3 kids by submitting one book and 3 songs each. One song pays out for life and maybe generations. Publishing books does pay more money but your Sims have to write more books to get more royalties. Publishing books can make more money but it does not last a lifetime. I have not tried it but from what I read songs pay through generations. I am not sure but I read somewhere that songs can be moved from one inventory to another before the Sim dies and the new Sim can take over the licensing. A published book only receives royalties for a certain amount of time and then it goes away. A song written by a level 10 musician call bring in $500+ a day for the rest of the Sims life if your Sims re-license it. However, if my Sims write one song for each instrument they can license the same song over and over again. I have also noticed that the amount of effort put into writing a song is not comparable to the money received for one licensing week. Songs stay in the inventory but can only be licensed once a week per instrument. My authors do not retain a copy of published books but they can make a copy of the book (costs money) before they publish it. My Sims can publish books as soon as they write one. It might 2 am but I never think about going to the mailbox at 2 am. It not available on the 7th day until after 7 am. My Sims submit a book and license 3 songs on the same day every week. My Sims can re-license a song once a week. I'm going to be really sad if I can't buy my own books back, I made some really ridiculous titles and descriptions and wanted them for my library, but if you keep the originals you can't make money off of them, so I feel like just keeping them defeats the purpose. I'm going to have to look into this book thing further though. It would be cool if we could buy a CD or album on the tablet that had our released music on it. With songs, I don't think you can actually buy anything like that in game right? So I imagine that you're right and they just disappear completely. In 3, I would buy every single book they had (eventually, not all at once). Either way, I'm really bummed out that the bookstore is gone. I think we can call somewhere on the phone and buy things right? Or maybe from the computer? I'm pretty sure I've done that but I can't remember for sure now. I'm still shocked that they took out the bookstore. I figured they would pop up in the library eventually, but haven't gone to check yet. As far as books go, I honestly didn't even realize that. I'm curious, after you license a song do they poof like books that are published? I can never seem to get books I've published back to have in the house or buy with other sims. I never made it that far into the music career.
